Sintrex Announces New CEO

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Emile Biagio as the new Chief Executive Officer of Sintrex, effective from 1st July 2023. This decision follows the confirmation by the current CEO, Adrienne Kotze, of his plans to emigrate at the end of 2023. Adrienne Kotze has been a highly valued member of the Sintrex team, serving the company for the past 22 years and as CEO for the last 5 years. Throughout his tenure, he has successfully navigated Sintrex through challenging times, resulting in significant growth and profits.

To ensure a smooth transition, Adrienne Kotze will remain employed at Sintrex and will lead the sales team until his departure. We sincerely appreciate his dedication and contributions to the company.

Emile Biagio brings a diverse professional background to his new role as CEO. He began his career in Information Technology, holding positions ranging from programmer to engineer, and later progressed to various management roles within the industrial and financial sectors. Emile has been an integral part of the Sintrex team for 17 years and has served on the company board since 2013. His extensive business knowledge and experience make him well-suited for this leadership position.

Alviva Holdings Limited holds the majority shares in Sintrex, accounting for 88% of ownership, and has actively represented the company on the Sintrex board since 2017. Additionally, minority shareholders include Adrienne Kotze, Ludwig Myburgh, and Emile Biagio. Both Adrienne and Ludwig were founding members of the Sintrex team.
